Scores and Votes
At Miss West Africa Ghana, we have a voting system which might slightly be complex to some but essential for us to ensure we have the perfect queen that can reign amongst all other queens. In order to achieve this, we have a voting system that is based on the puntuality of the girls (which will be scores derrived from their attendance and various activities), our judges (whom will be from the beauty, fashion or entertainment industry), and most importantly, you the audience via the pre voting and on the day voting (which also indicates the social ability of our contestants). A break down of this is below.
PRE VOTING FOR MWA GH 2012
A great 20% (20points of of 100points) of their total scores is determined by you the public. The 20% is casted by votes, and is marginalised by the number of votes of the highest ranking contestant. For example, if the highest score is 50 votes, then the 20% will be 80votes. Therefore is a trailing contestant acquires 40votes, this will amount to 10 out of the 20points. And if another acquires 20votes, this will then amount to 5points and so forth. If you do not understand the simple formular is Number of Votes / Highest Number of Votes x 20.
FB IMAGE LIKE VOTING- Begins Thursday 9th August 2012, 2pm – Ends Saturday 11th August 2012, 8pm (GMT/Ghana time). This folder will only be made public on Thursday. At the end of the online voting, we would have to say goodbye to one of our beautiful lovely ladies. The candidate with the lowest online votes will be elminated.

PUNCTUALITY SCORES FOR MWA GH FINALISTS
Another 15% (15points out of 100points) of their total score will be determined by their punctuality and availability of the various activities provided by the Miss West Africa Ghana organisers. For attending an event ontime a contestant receivecs 2 points of the 15. For being late they receive 1, for not showing up with notice they receive none. For not showing up without notice they receive -1. The organisation has already scheduled 10 activities including rehearsals so there is also room for the girls to ensure they fulfill their punctual obligations.

JUDGES ON THE DAY
The remaining 65% (65points out of 100points) of their total score will be determined by the judges on the night. Whom will judge them on their presentation, their walk, their confidence, beauty, and answers to the questions presented.
ON THE DAY VOTING, ADDITIONAL POINTS
In addition to the 100points, are an extra set of points of which the audience will be allowed to vote on the night. Each vote will account for 0.5% of the votes. Therefore two votes will account for 1point. These will be special voting rights only given to the first 60 attendees. It also means with the extra ‘on the day’ votes, finalist have the ability to exceed the 100point mark.
—————————————————————–
Despite how complex the score process is, Miss West Africa Ghana will ensure all accounts of scores are made public, with the exception of the judges tally, which will only be made available at the organisers intent, which will only also be on the basis if a public confusion occurs or only at the extreme request of a finalist. Judges will have the ability to witness the pre scores before the day and will be made fully award that their judgement is a contribution of 65points towards the full score of the candidates.
