Joycelyn highly impressed the judges with her charisma and amazing dancing, which was enjoyed so much she was asked to repeat again for everyone. Despite only 2 family members in attendance she also scooped the prize for the highest number of votes from the audience by impressing many of the visitors which consisted of a number of well known figures from the entertainment industry.

Joycelyn is now the selected queen and the hope for Ghana to bring the Miss West Africa International 2012-13 crown to the shores of the Gold Coast, in what will be another very competitive event in December in Sierra Leone. There is even more exciting news this year about the Miss West Africa crown in that, with the alliance of Miss Southern Africa, Miss Central Africa, Miss West Africa and Miss East Africa, all their winners from this year will enter into a joint event with the incredible prospect of becoming the long awaited Miss Africa.

Judges on the night were Atumpan, Entertainment PR consultant Makeba Boateng, Ruth Tembe CEO of Queens Magazine, Rita of WnG hair, and Nana Yaa Sarpong the marketing director of Multi TV. The event was presented by well known Andy from the Brukute commercial and Twins Dont Beg. The incredible finalists wore a series of amazing fashions all made by Quami Wear, with beautiful hair and make up by Making Faces.

The Miss West Africa Ghana organisers have promised the audience and judges that they will not regret their choice and are already planning her schedule of activities as the queen to make Ghana and West Africa proud.
