In a highly competitive final on the shore of the beach at Next Door Resort Accra, the beautiful Joycelyn Aduakye was crowned Miss West Africa Ghana 2012 on Saturday 25th August. Joycelyn highly impressed the judges with her charisma and amazing dancing, which was enjoyed so much she was asked to repeat again for everyone. Despite only 2 family members in attendance she also scooped the prize for the highest number of votes from the audience by impressing many of the visitors which consisted of a number of well known figures from the entertainment industry. Joycelyn is now the selected queen and the hope for Ghana to bring the Miss West Africa International 2012-13 crown to the shores of the Gold Coast, in what will be another very competitive event in December in Sierra Leone.
